Fancy a trip out, to enjoy the culture and natural environment? You can go out on foot, using the stunning walking routes. You could also navigate the rolling Belgian landscape on your bike; there are some lovely cycle paths and you can hire regular bicycles, mountain bikes or e-bikes nearby or, of course, bring your own.
 

The most beautiful walk in Flanders passes near to Mille Fleurs and the site is also situated near a bicycle interchange. And you mustn’t forget to pay a visit to the trout farm in the castle waterways at the neighbour’s. And make sure you pop over to see the farmer for home-made apple and pear syrup.
 

Surrounded by peace and quiet, nature-lovers can discover all the hidden gems. The historic heritage, right at the heart of a beautifully preserved natural area, is what makes the region so photogenic!
 

Fancy a bit of a change or a livelier atmosphere? With Aachen, Liège, Spa, Valkenburg and Maastricht around half an hour away, Mille Fleurs is also the ideal base for a trip to the city or a bit of R&R.
