Below we have a number of recommendations for fun activities, fine restaurants and sights.
Lots of fun!

If you’d like to discover the Voer-region by e-bike, you can head to 'Hostellerie de Cantarel' to hire e-bikes. You can park your car safely there. From 2 days rental, the bikes can be delivered and picked up on site by Jordy. He will help you find your way around too, with 7 outlined routes, a cycling map, guided rides and much more.
Please note: reservations are required. Closed on Thursdays.
For your evening meal, we would recommend 'Hoeve de Bies' which has recently been taken over by two young people who used to work in the Michelin star restaurant Beluga Maastricht. From our location, it’s just half an hour’s walk to 'Hoeve de Bies'.
Lunch and Diner
At 15 min. walking or 2 min. by car, in the rural hostellerie 'De Cantarel' you are always welcome. Whether you stop by for an extensive dinner or for a cup of coffee with homemade apple pie.
Traditional syrup making
You will find the centuries-old farm of the Wiertz family bordering the Medieval Commandery. As well as keeping dairy cows, the farm also makes traditional syrup from Voeren ('Voerstroop'). A genuine artisan product, of which the recipe has been passed down from generation to generation. Throughout the year, the farm shop is open almost every day from 11 am to 5 pm (except for public holidays). Besides their syrup, you can also buy other regional produce here, such as apple juice, beer and honey. The syrup distillery is open for visitors (from the end of September) so that you can see the syrup production process with your own eyes and, of course, sample it.
